The ResearchWriteNZ story ...
ResearchWriteNZ is an independent, Dunedin-based, professional service. Our primary aim is to simplify the research process - guiding you to, or providing you with, the information you need.Established in 2007 by its founding director,
Dr Jennie Coleman, ResearchWriteNZ specialises in
New Zealand history, particularly the 19th century immigrant experience; rural history - with particular emphasis on agricultural machinery; religious history; industrial history; and family history.
The research resources in Dunedin are plentiful, not least because Dunedin - New Zealand's 'first city' - and the greater Otago region generated an immensely rich, complex and diverse history. The records of that history, being equally complex and diverse, are not found in any one particular place, but in a variety of different locations in Dunedin and throughout regional Otago and Southland.
Dunedin, New Zealand's main centre in the 'deep south', is not ideally located for all who need to access the research resources held here.
The ResearchWriteNZ services are specifically designed to meet the needs of those whose research questions are best answered from appropriate resources found in any number of different locations.
